Director Buttgereit's notorious 80's underground film was banned from public display in several countries. It tells the terribly dark tale of Rob, a professional "street cleaner" in Berlin who cleans up the sites of grisly accidents. His chosen profession has allowed him to amass an impressive collection of human body parts he keeps in jars at home. When he brings home an entire corpse for his wife Betty and him to enjoy, he is shocked to discover that his wife prefers the "company" of the dead man. Be warned--though the film is unrated, it is very disturbing, with sex and violence on display which are of an extreme--and extremely adult-- nature.

This is an excellent film. Very well made and it has a very sad undertone to it. Quite disturbing. Oh, yeah, just so nobody says thaey weren't warned, the film does have some genuine scenes of animal slaughter filmed on a rabbit farm.

Man, I've wanted to get this one for years, but for some reason I still haven't. It's rather spendy, so I always cheap out and go for more inexpensive stuff, or else I just forget about it entirely, moron that I am.
I WILL have this one soon. It's time to get it.
