When I checked my Myspace today, I had 11 requests for friends.
10 of them were porno chicks, people I choose not to add to my list of friends.
Does anyone with Myspace ever find this happening to them?

I'm on myspace, but I don't have a url thingy or anything because I didn't totally set it all up, since I only use it to correspond with a good friend of mine whos currently in the army, so I don't get any of those problems.
The popularity of myspace is pretty amazing. You can spend lots of time just going through different people. I find it kinda troubling in the way it's become a virtual hunting ground for pedophiles. It serves up kids to 'em on a silver platter, and it's been used as a tool by tons of 'em now, or so I hear. These guys find a kid and make friends, since it's so easy for them to to fake having stuff in common etc. it's all listed right there on the site so they know everything about the kid practically, then they set up a meeting and rape them, frequently not being reported for quite some time, if at all since the kid feels stupid, and is afraid of their parents finding out about what they did/do on their computer. If I had a kid, no way would I let them use it.

Some of the teens on there really show off too much.
