With all of the hype regarding Rob Zombie, I have been downloading a lot of his music.
Anyone else a fan of his?

I like some of his music. He has got some good stuff. I think I like more of his music when he was with White Zombie though. I haven't listened to his music for awhile though either.

I really admire his creativity.
He writes and produces quality songs, makes good movies (aside from House Of 1000 Corpses) and has cool music videos.

Of the few songs I have heard, his latest CD isn't as good as the earlier work, but is still well made.

Yea. I have heard a couple songs. I was listening to a song called Foxy Foxy and at first I was like "What the hell", but it kind of grew on me. It was like his music, but with the a sort of 70's/80's refrence and I started to like it.

I don't like Foxy, Foxy.
I do like American Witch though.

I heard that once, but don't really remember it much.

American Witch is more of a classic Zombie song.
It is a lot like his earlier songs.

He's definately a very creative and talented musician, I'm just not too into his style of music. But also I'd say he's a nearly genius director!

He will be the one to do Michael Myers justice.
He has already said that the Captain Kirk mask is returning.
Now comes choosing an actor to play Mr. Myers.
He should be around six feet tall and 200 pounds to effectively play the role.

Yea. He is a great director. The people helping to bring the genre back today are people like Rob Zombie, Alex Aja, and Takashi Miike.

It would be cool if he did a Masters Of Horror episode.

MAybe. I'm still not convinced that he is a great director. TDR was awesome, but House was only ok. he needs to make a few more quality films before I am ready to pronounce him as the savior of the horror genre

HNT makes a good point.
He has a lot of promise, but can't be compared to George A. Romero yet.

George A. Romero is great, but he still has alot of flops. I think he is really bring the horror genre in the right direction though....well atleast in my eyes, because I love 70's/80's horror & exploitation. lol

True. Just pointing out that no director is perfect.
