Halloween hands down imo. The best killer, the best supsense, etc. There wouldn't be other slashers without Halloween.

well Black Christmas was made befor halloween Yeah, but I'd say Halloween is what really ignited the slasher genre. I haven't seen Black Christmas though, so I need to check it out sometime soon.

There would be no Halloween or slasher without the giallo films that started in the 60's. Anyways the more I think about it, it's harder to choose between The Buring and Halloween.

Black Christmas is a really cool movie. It was also directed by the same dude that directed A Christmas Story. I dunno I find that kind of funny.
HAlloween is the best by some margin, though

lol....you definitely do have a problem if you like the House Of Wax remake. I wouldn't get on you that much if you liked the TCM remake because it was ok, but to like more than the original....well you are just a sick individual sir. lol.. just messin with ya........but seriously you do have a problem.

Sleepy Hollow was alright, but I have not seen it for like 5 or 6 years. I Know What You Did Last Summer was ok for me when I was 9 or so and would watch them late at night with friends, but I guess as I got older and got into more horror films it didn't seem as good.
