I seriously think somebody made a car out of it once a long time ago. LMFAO. Dude, the van was made of fibreweed in Up in Smoke. You just confused friggin Cheech and Chong with reality. I only wish.

Nope.
According to the storyline of the Cheech and Chong movie, the van they had was made out of marijuana bud. That's a different part of the plant from hemp. One can be smoked, the other cannot.
Henry Ford did make a car out of mainly hemp in the early 1900s.
"Henry ford built in 1936 from plastic made from hemp, flax, soy and other natural fibers. Ford's hemp car was featured in the 1941 Dec issue of Popular Mechanics. It was ten times stronger than steel but weighed 30 percent less."
It's historical fact, look it up! ;D
